Business Central - Match Based Coupling with Sales Hub CRM

 
Within the connection setup, a field is chosen for the system to match on: 
 
Search (or ALT + Q) Dataverse Connection Setup
 
Select the Integration tab, then Integration Table Mappings
 
Within Integration Table Mappings, select the table you wish to perform matched based coupling. Then from the menu, select Coupling, and Match-Based Coupling.
 
 
 
Select 'Yes' on the following warning message: 
 
On the matching screen, you can choose what criteria you want to match on. In my example, I match on Account Number. The system is expecting an account number field to be populated in CRM with the customer number in Business Central to match (i.e CO12423, etc): 
 
 
 
Other options are to match on address: 
 
Account Name is another option but it assuming the name is the same in Business Central and CRM which is not always the case unfortunately. 
 
Should the records not exist, there is a function in the upper right corner to create an Account record in CRM .
